That’s what \#LifeAtCummins is all about. **INITIAL CONTRACT FOR A FIXED TERM OF 6 MONTHS, WITH POSSIBILITY OF RENEWAL FOR AN ADDITIONAL 6 MONTHS.** We are seeking talented **Assemblers** to join our **CDBS Cummins\-Meritor team in Resende\-RJ.** **Job Summary**: Operates production machines and equipment in an industrial environment according to quality, productivity, and safety standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Assemble parts and subassemblies per work instructions. * Follow defined operational sequences to prevent defects and rework. * Use torque tools, wrenches, and torque meters according to specified parameters. * Maintain equipment in good condition and ensure proper operation. * Ensure all fastenings meet specified torque values. * Record torque values in digital systems when required. * Verify alignment, fit, and integrity of assembled components. * Report assembly issues, defective parts, or process failures. * Keep workstation clean, organized, and properly stocked. * Wear mandatory PPE. * Comply with safety, ergonomics, and environmental regulations. **RESPONSIBILITIES** **Education, Specializations, Certifications:** * Completed Secondary Education (High School Diploma) **Mandatory Requirements** * Valid and active driver’s license. * Full availability to work across different shifts, as required by plant operational needs. * Availability to work overtime—scheduled or emergency—as production demands require. * Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and safety routines. **Desired Qualifications** * Prior experience in an industrial environment or machine operation will be considered a plus. * Driver’s license class D is a plus. * Training courses in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality Assurance are a plus. **Additional Information** * First shift: 6:00 AM – 3:24 PM * Second shift: 3:24 PM – 12:24 AM * Availability for both shifts is required. **QUALIFICATIONS** **Job** Manufacturing **Organization** Cummins Inc. **Role Category** On\-site with Flexibility **Job Type** Shop **ReqID** 2425930 **Relocation Package** No **100% On\-Site** Yes Due to the operational nature and specific job duties of this role, work is required to be completed 100% in person/On\-site.
