APPRENTICE CLEANING ASSISTANT

Job Summary: This position involves assisting with general cleaning of areas, including waste collection, surface cleaning, and organizing materials and equipment. Key Highlights: 1. Assist in cleaning various areas and surfaces. 2. Organize cleaning supplies and PPEs. 3. Work that contributes to maintaining hygiene and organization. ### **JOB DESCRIPTION** \*\*\*\*\*\*ALL OUR POSITIONS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES AND INSS-REHABILITATED INDIVIDUALS.\*\*\*\*\*\* Assist in cleaning general areas, including internal collection of common and recyclable waste, except for biological waste requiring airborne and contact precautions; Assist in cleaning bathrooms, glass surfaces, horizontal and vertical surfaces such as tables, countertops, walls, ceilings, curtains, blinds, and windows by sweeping and washing to keep areas clean and organized; Assist in cleaning and refilling soap dispensers, toilet paper holders, and other products in containers, replacing items as they run low; Load and program the washing machine to keep cloths and mops clean; Organize boxes containing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits and assist in completing staff records for the department; Organize the inventory of hygiene products and equipment, and assist in sorting and distributing materials required for cleaning activities; Organize the functional trolley and/or basket according to the company's established standards; Assist in verifying product identification labels and expiration dates according to the company's established standards; Perform related tasks within one's competencies, upon request from the immediate supervisor. ### **JOB REQUIREMENTS** MINIMUM EDUCATION: Currently enrolled in Elementary School.
