Web Designer - Bilingual As a company, our mission is to provide guidance to childbirth professionals and activists so they can consciously and positively guide pregnant individuals from pregnancy through postpartum worldwide. Our vision is to transform hospital and cultural approaches to maternal physiology. Core Duties and Competencies: The selected candidate must operate in both English- and Portuguese-speaking markets. - Execute all stages of visual design, from concept to final handoff to engineering. - Conceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and ease of use to complex challenges. - Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas. - Present and defend projects and key outcomes to peers and executive-level stakeholders. - Establish and promote design guidelines, practical improvements, and standards. Work Summary: We are looking for a talented Web Designer to create amazing user experiences. The ideal candidate must have an eye for clean, artistic design. They must also possess user interface design skills. The successful candidate will be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts. They will be able to transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional designs. Duties and Responsibilities: - Execute all stages of visual design, from concept to final handoff to engineering. Requirements: Demonstrable graphic design skills; Creation of wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps; Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wireframing tools; Proficiency in WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping; Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is a plus. Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction; Ability to creatively and effectively solve problems; Up-to-date with the latest web trends, techniques, and technologies. Desired Attributes: Experience in English-speaking countries and time availability.
