Job Summary: Work as a Libras Interpreter, performing simultaneous and/or consecutive translation and interpretation between Libras and Portuguese to promote inclusion and accessibility. Act with impartiality, fidelity, and professional ethics We are a service outsourcing company operating nationwide in Brazil. We are hiring professionals to work as Libras Interpreters at UFAPE \- Federal University of the Agreste of Pernambuco. **Main Responsibilities:** * Perform simultaneous and/or consecutive translation and interpretation between Libras and Portuguese; * Support academic and administrative activities according to institutional needs; * Promote cultural and linguistic mediation, ensuring understanding between Deaf and hearing individuals; * Translate various materials (texts, documents, videos, and audiovisual content); * Interpret content across diverse genres and contexts; * Act with impartiality, fidelity, and professional ethics; * Utilize technological and accessibility resources to facilitate communication; * Accompany Deaf students and staff in internal and external activities, when necessary; * Provide guidance on Libras, inclusion, and accessibility; * Collaborate on adaptations aimed at including Deaf individuals; * Maintain the work environment, equipment, and organization of the Libras Center; * Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards regarding information accessed during job performance. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Languages \- Libras **or** * Bachelor’s degree in any field \+ Libras Translation and Interpretation course **or** * Certificate of Proficiency in Libras Translation and Interpretation; **Desired Profile:** * Strong communication skills and professional demeanor; * Responsibility, punctuality, and commitment; * Sensitivity to inclusion and diversity; * Organization and proactivity.
