Process Engineering Intern - Float

Description

**Your role** We are seeking an intern for our Process Engineering - Float (flat glass) team. You will have the opportunity to observe process engineers’ daily routines in flat glass manufacturing, support continuous operational improvement, and contribute to area indicator management and key projects. **Our team** Process Engineering - Float **What you will do** * Support operational routine improvements (standardization and updating of inspections, checklists, work instructions, and procedures). * Manage and update area indicators: data collection and processing, trend analysis, and dashboard development (Power BI). * Monitor process operational parameters and support variability analysis and gain opportunity identification. * Support raw material and input management. * Contribute to area key project management: schedule tracking, action plan updates, status reporting, and interface with operations/maintenance/quality. * Manage and lead small projects in Float production areas, applying continuous improvement tools and ensuring sustainability of results. **Who you are (basic qualifications)** * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and Power BI. * Data analysis capability and ability to organize routines (indicators, action plans, and follow-up). * Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with operational areas (production, maintenance, and quality). * Advanced English proficiency. * Residency near Porto Real, preferably in Barra Mansa, Volta Redonda, or Resende. **What will set you apart** * Experience in an industrial environment. * Knowledge of continuous improvement and quality tools (PDCA, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, Kaizen, 5S).
