Environmental Intern (EHS)

Description

**Your role** We are seeking an intern to join our Environmental (EHS) team. You will be developed to assume direct responsibility for environmental sub-processes, applying the principle of Creative Destruction to transform daily challenges into opportunities for efficiency, compliance, and waste elimination. **Our team** Environmental (EHS). **What you will do** * Assist in monitoring and controlling Our Ticket To Operate indicators (atmospheric emissions, water resources, effluents, and licensing). * Lead and organize the internal flow of Waste Transport Manifests (MTRs) and inventories, ensuring proper disposal and compliance with legislation (INEA/Anvisa). * Support interface activities and development of appropriate technical language for communication with government agencies and audits. * Deliver onboarding training, conduct Daily Safety and Environmental Dialogues (DDSMA), and speak publicly to engage operators and service providers on the shop floor. * Challenge current environmental control methods by proposing report automation and eco-efficiency improvements. **Who you are (basic qualifications)** * Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in: Environmental Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, Chemical Engineering, General Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, or related Environmental Sciences fields. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (with emphasis on intermediate/advanced Excel for data analysis and dashboard creation). * Strong technical writing ability and capacity to interpret environmental regulations. * Skill and fluency in public speaking, facilitating alignment meetings with cross-functional teams, and expressing ideas clearly. * Reside near Porto Real, preferably in Barra Mansa, Volta Redonda, or Resende. **What will set you apart** * Prior experience in the Environmental field. * English proficiency: will be a plus. * Knowledge of Power BI.
