Job Summary: Responsible for operating the cash register and serving customers, following protocols, scanning merchandise, and collecting payments. Key Highlights: 1. With multi-family management, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for cash register operations and customer service, adhering to established protocols, rules, standards, and procedures; scanning merchandise and collecting payments; performing cash withdrawals; closing the register; and submitting daily transaction reports at the end of the shift. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the cash register by following protocols, rules, standards, and procedures; scanning/weighing products; consulting code tables; checking product labels, scale weight, and system correspondence; processing payments; verifying prior authorization for checks and making appropriate notations on the back; and verifying authenticity of cash; Ensure cash withdrawals during the shift and cash register closing by counting cash, reconciling totals, signing reports, and delivering them to the Supervisor and/or depositing into a safe or 24-hour cash box to prevent excessive exposed cash and ensure accountability; Contribute to achieving current campaign targets by offering available products and services, identifying missing items, and reporting them to the Supervisor for action; Help reduce front-end losses by proactively minimizing bag waste, potential theft, and ensuring prompt returns of perishables, etc. Maintain the workplace and equipment in perfect working and clean condition, and request bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist with sorting goods for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Assist with related tasks as needed, such as shelf stocking, checkout stand replenishment, pricing, expiry date verification, gift wrapping, etc. Requirements **Education:** Completed elementary school **Additional Information:** 100% in-person position **Work Location:** Presidente Getúlio \-SC **Working Hours:** 12:00 \- 20:20 **Benefits:** Attendance Bonus Dental Plan Pharmacy Benefit Shopping Discount Program Life Insurance * Position available for persons with disabilities
