**The accounting for dozens of companies flows through here. You’ll learn how to do it at the pace and precision that define Booker.**
**Who We Are**
Booker is a business intelligence company operating as a BPO — we manage our clients’ accounting, tax, HR, finance, controller, commercial, marketing, and HR functions, enabling growth without operational distraction. Based in Uberlândia, we serve clients nationwide.
Accounting is at the core of what we deliver to the market — it’s not a support function; it’s our product. We comply with Brazilian Accounting Standards (NCB) and operate systems such as Sankhya, Linx, Protheus, and Mário Monteiro. This is possible thanks to our team’s continuous updates on legislative changes and technological advancements. And because we care about people with the same attention we give numbers, you’ll join a company with a structured job and salary plan and a defined development path.
**What Defines Us:**
* **Data-driven decisions.** Every company sees the same foundation: inventory managed by operations, products sold by sales, and numbers recorded by accounting. Decisions connected by Booker.
* **Promising talent becomes reality.** We invest in people with potential to build a shared career trajectory — with a defined career path, close leadership mentoring, and real growth opportunities.
* **People close to people.** A welcoming team, open doors, and accessible leadership. You’ll know everyone by name — and be known by name too.
**About the Team and the Challenge**
You’ll join the Accounting team, providing direct support for bookkeeping and month-end closing for companies under our responsibility. It’s an area with a structured routine and close supervision — the kind of environment where you truly learn accounting in practice, supported by people eager to teach.
**Your Responsibilities**
* Classify and record accounting documents — invoices, receipts, taxes, revenues, and expenses.
* Perform bank reconciliations: verify financial movements (cash flow) and supporting reports against bank statements.
* Calculate taxes and levies, cross-checking entry/exit ledgers against the general ledger.
* Review and validate accounting entries made in the prior process step.
* Organize digital documentation (file management on server) and track receipt of required supporting documents for each task.
* Participate in preparing financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement), generating reports and updating supporting databases.
* Reconcile other balance sheet accounts — customers, suppliers, intercompany loans, withheld taxes, payroll, among others.
* Support internal and external audits by generating reports on demand.
* Contribute to updating SOPs and team training materials.
**What We Expect From You**
* **Attention to detail:** reconciliation and bookkeeping require precision — small errors lead to major rework.
* **Organization:** you document your work and meet month-end closing deadlines.
* **Clear communication:** you explain things well and feel comfortable asking questions when uncertain.
* **Willingness to learn:** you receive feedback, apply it, ask questions, and return improved.
* **Education:** pursuing or completed degree in Accounting Sciences.
* **Tools:** Intermediate Excel skills, including familiarity with Power Query, and Microsoft Office Suite.
**Nice-to-Have Qualifications**
* Prior exposure to integrated accounting management systems (e.g., Sankhya, Mário Monteiro, TOTVS, or similar).
* Prior involvement in monthly closing routines or experience with SPED processes (ECD/ECF) in previous roles.
* Coursework or practical experience with basic accounting and tax legislation.
* Prior experience in an accounting firm or BPO.
* Interest in technology: curiosity about AI and automation tools applied to accounting workflows, even if still learning.
**Seniority Level.** This position is offered at two levels — Junior and Mid-level — with the hiring level determined during the interview based on the candidate’s experience and technical background. In both cases, you’ll benefit from close supervision by the Accounting Coordination team and a defined development path. Turning promising talent into results is what we do \- inside our own walls too.
