In this role, you will provide technical support, operational expertise, continuous improvement methodologies, and project management skills, and serve as a contributing team member on moderately complex issues related to the operational domain. You will provide guidance and supervision of external third-party personnel deployed on-site and improve process stability, capacity, and availability by reducing variability and mitigating risks in the operational area. You will enable the operational area to achieve variable and fixed cost and operational efficiency targets, protecting our people, communities, environment, and assets while ensuring our business obligations. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** -------------------------------- * Collect and analyze moderately complex operational data and trends, and develop recommendations and plans to improve equipment and process performance and reporting, ensuring consistent monitoring indicators and early warning alerts. * Collaborate on process improvement within internal technology and finance operations to monitor and manage variable and fixed costs. * Partner with process engineers to analyze capital expenditures and moderately complex projects to identify more efficient and cost-effective approaches that deliver higher quality and reliable outcomes. * Serve as the point of contact and interface with third-party personnel to define priorities, monitor safety, and enhance their capabilities over time. * Partner with relevant personnel from other departments onsite or across the business to benchmark practices and assist in strategy development. * Independently resolve moderately complex problems with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to the appropriate team. * Other duties as assigned **Qualifications** ------------------ **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering * Lean certification preferred * Experience with Power BI preferred **PREVIOUS BENEFICIAL EXPERIENCE** * Assisted in analyzing capital expenditures and projects to identify more efficient and cost-effective approaches that promote higher quality and reliable outcomes. * Assisted in equipment repair and maintenance and prepared repair reports. **KEY BEHAVIORS** * Consistently achieves results, even under challenging circumstances. * Makes sound and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward. * Plans and prioritizes work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals. **SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES TO BE ACQUIRED** * Leadership and training of personnel on equipment usage and processes. * Planning of operation sequences and specifying procedures for cutting, fabrication, and preparation of raw materials, exercising judgment in balancing conflicting requirements, economic evaluation of methods, and operator effectiveness and comfort. * Evaluate current manufacturing equipment and processes and make recommendations for changes. \#LI\-AA2 \#LI\-Onsite Want to build a strong, sustainable future and grow your career?
