




Job Summary: Responsible for operating and monitoring HVI and AFIS machines for cotton fiber analysis, ensuring accuracy in processes and workplace safety. Key Highlights: 1. Operate and monitor HVI and AFIS machines for cotton fiber analysis. 2. Conduct caramelization tests and export results for evaluation. 3. Maintain equipment cleanliness and maintenance. Responsible for operating and monitoring HVI and AFIS machines for cotton fiber analysis, measuring moisture, reliability, maturity, impurities, and other parameters; conducting caramelization tests and exporting results for evaluation; maintaining equipment cleanliness and maintenance to ensure process accuracy and workplace safety. * Check sample moisture upon initiating HVI machine operation and record it via the system. * Operate the HVI machine to identify reliability index, fineness, maturity, percentage of short fibers, length, uniformity, strength, elongation, grade color factor, impurity quantity in the analyzed area, and caramelization, per current standards. * Load cotton samples onto HVI machine tables. * Operate the AFIS machine to analyze neps/g, fiber length, impurities, and maturity. * Assist in monitoring environmental climate control to ensure optimal conditions for test execution. * Perform daily HVI machine calibration at the start of work to maintain equipment in good working condition and within established standards. * Clean the HVI instrument to prevent lint accumulation inside the device, which may cause malfunctions. * Prepare cotton samples for caramelization testing to comply with established standards. * Assist in monitoring sample climate control to ensure ideal conditions for test execution. * Export analysis results to the laboratory for immediate supervisor evaluation prior to sending them to producers. * Review results on screen to assess and determine whether machine calibration is required. * Prepare cotton samples for pressing by removing and discarding labels. * Perform other related tasks as needed or at the discretion of the supervisor.
