We are looking for a committed, responsible, and team-oriented Welder to work on the fabrication of our metal products. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Responsibilities and Duties** ----------------------------------- * Attend daily meetings to align production items; * Assemble the poka-yoke jig on the workstation according to production items; * Ensure dimensions, squareness, and leveling of parts per production item on the workstation; * Set up the welding machine according to the operational procedure, adjusting current, voltage, and gas flow rate according to material thickness to be welded; * Replace welding equipment consumables as needed to support production; * Ensure weld bead (thickness and penetration) according to the type of material being welded; * Perform weld filling on parts with non-conforming measurements per workstation jig; * Guarantee and safeguard product quality at both input and output stages of produced items; * Remove produced items from the welding booth and organize them onto pallets for the next production step; * Complete hourly production control records for items produced, for monitoring and control by the immediate supervisor; * Collaborate with the supervisor to evaluate items requiring rejection or rework during production; * Notify the immediate supervisor immediately in case of equipment failure; * Support other welding sectors within the factory, as directed by the immediate supervisor; * Comply with all company-imposed safety regulations applicable to welding activities; * Use PPE as instructed by occupational safety and the immediate supervisor; * Perform cleaning and maintenance of machines, equipment, or work areas to ensure optimal functionality and usability. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Requirements and Qualifications** ------------------------------ * Prior experience in the role of Welder; * Knowledge of MIG/MAG welding; * Familiarity with measurement systems. **Additional Information** **Additional Information** -------------------------- * Meals provided at the company; * Partnerships with SESI Betim Club, universities, and pharmacies; * Health and dental plans (only BRL 15 per person); * Life insurance; * Transportation allowance or fuel subsidy (BRL 300 for motorcycles and BRL 400 for cars), with no payroll deduction; * Profit-sharing program (PLR) – amount defined by the labor union; * Meal card up to BRL 330.00\.
