Job Summary: The professional will be responsible for ensuring excellence in customer service, performing cash operations, guaranteeing transaction security, and contributing to sales targets and loss reduction. Contribution to sales targets and loss reduction About Us GTOP Group comprises the brands Rede TOP, ObenCard, and Preceiro Atacadista. With multi-family management, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Receive cash bag with supervisor, verify contents, place bag in cash register, log in as operator and begin shift by taking initial reading; clean cash register; serve customers and visitors; scan products and merchandise individually; verify packaged items; receive sales payments; complete administrative forms and reports; request testing of appliances; assist in packing merchandise; withdraw cash (supervisor). ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in cashier customer service by following established protocols, rules, standards, and procedures—scanning/weighing products, consulting code tables, checking product labels, verifying scale weight and system correspondence, processing payment; for checks, confirm prior authorization and make appropriate notations on the back; for cash, verify authenticity; Ensure cash withdrawal during business hours and proper cash register closing, including counting cash, reconciling totals, signing documentation, and submitting it to the supervisor and/or depositing into a safe or 24-hour cash box—thereby preventing excessive exposure of cash and ensuring accountability; Contribute to achieving current campaign targets by offering available products and services, identifying missing items, and reporting such omissions to the supervisor for resolution; Help reduce losses at the checkout area through preventive actions—including minimizing plastic bag waste, preventing theft, and promptly returning perishables; Maintain work area and equipment in optimal working and clean condition; request plastic bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist in sorting merchandise for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Support related tasks whenever necessary, such as shelf stocking, checkout stand restocking, pricing and expiry date verification of merchandise, gift wrapping, etc. REQUIREMENTS **Education:** Completed high school **Additional Information:** 100% in-person position **Work Location:** Rua Gustavo Zimmermann, 1365, Itoupava Central \- Blumenau, SC **Working Hours:** 2:00 PM to 10:20 PM (1-hour break) Compensation allowance for Sundays worked **Benefits:** Attendance Bonus Cash Register Closing Bonus Transportation Voucher Childcare Assistance Rede TOP Store Purchase Agreement Life Insurance Health Plan Dental Plan Cafeteria with snacks/coffee Disciplinary Evaluation Professional Advancement * Position available for persons with disabilities (PCD)
