Support in tracking rework and continuous improvement **Job Description:** ---------------------- Adjust the required PPE for inspection activities; perform visual, dimensional, and finish inspections on domestic and imported raw materials and products, exercising autonomy in making low-complexity decisions. Verify process compliance—including cutting, bending, drawing, welding, electrostatic painting, and final assembly—according to drawings and technical specifications. Use basic measuring instruments (calipers, tape measures, and templates). Record inspection results in forms, spreadsheets, and quality control systems (ERP, Excel, etc.), including photographs. Conduct simple functional tests on luminaires, such as checking fittings, fastenings, and overall integrity. Analyze parts rejected during production to identify the type of defect, determine its probable cause, and define the appropriate disposition of the material. Perform bench tests, torque testing, and ball drop tests when necessary. Inspect raw materials and products from imported suppliers. Verify documentation for imported product receipt: invoice, datasheet, test reports, and technical certificates, where applicable. Flag recurring issues, quality failures, or inadequate packaging to responsible departments. Contribute to improvements in receiving processes and inspection criteria. Communicate quality issues to involved departments. Support tracking of rework and corrections on rejected parts and luminaires. Assist in reviewing quality procedures and standards, contributing to continuous process improvement. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the inspection area and proper handling of instruments. Provide technical support to internal departments. Submit requests via system when necessary. Perform physical and visual inspection of returned products, verifying condition, validity, integrity, damage, and conformity with the reason for return. Comply with safety, quality, and environmental regulations and procedures.
