JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for cash operations and customer service at the checkout counter, following established protocols, rules, standards, and procedures; scanning merchandise and collecting payments; performing cash withdrawals (float adjustments), daily cash closing, and accounting reconciliation at the end of each shift. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the checkout counter by adhering to established protocols, rules, standards, and procedures; scanning/weighing products; consulting product code tables; verifying product labels, scale weights, and system data consistency; processing payments—including verifying prior authorization and making appropriate notations on the back of checks when accepting checks—and authenticating cash when receiving cash payments; Ensure timely cash withdrawals (float adjustments) during the shift and proper cash closing, including counting cash, reconciling totals, signing documentation, and submitting it to the Supervisor and/or depositing into a safe or 24-hour cash box—thereby preventing excessive exposure of cash and ensuring accurate accountability; Contribute to achieving current campaign targets by promoting available products and services, identifying missing items, and promptly notifying the Supervisor for corrective action; Help reduce losses at the checkout area through preventive measures—such as minimizing plastic bag waste, preventing theft, and promptly returning perishable items; Maintain the workstation and equipment in optimal working and clean condition; request plastic bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist with sorting goods for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging and handling; Support related tasks whenever necessary, including shelf stocking, checkout stand maintenance, product pricing, expiration date verification, gift wrapping, etc. Requirements **Education:** Completed elementary school **Additional Information:** 100% on-site position (Address)(https://www.google.com/search?sca\_esv\=d39ac736e437527b\&rlz\=1C1GCEA\_enBR1169BR1169\&sxsrf\=AE3TifPOt2Pk9cd3HY7xvDPGjPFDVB3kRg: 1760708363873\&q\=rede\+top\+\-\+escola\+agr%C3%ADcola\+endere%C3%A7o\&ludocid\=1257227369858026050\&sa\=X\&ved\=2ahUKEwi1udPkrauQAxWxGbkGHfoTDggQ6BN6BAhAEAI): R.
