JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for supervising, organizing, controlling, and monitoring daily butchery operations, guiding and clarifying team members' questions, preparing and managing work schedules, overtime, and time-off requests, defining priorities and requirements related to cutting, weighing, pricing, restocking, and packaging, standardizing procedures to maximize operational efficiency, product quality, and service quality while complying with regulations, good practices manuals, hygiene and safety standards, established guidelines, and performance targets; additionally, responsible for customer service and sales. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure a positive customer shopping experience by meeting their needs, surprising them with guidance on the variety of products offered, and making sales suggestions; Ensure, promote, and maximize sales targets through strategic planning of product mix, defining production and display schedules for the most attractive and distinctive products, as well as maintaining courteous customer relations; Ensure reduction of butchery losses and waste by guiding, monitoring, and controlling the team and daily activities, defining and standardizing operational procedures, and supervising or performing proper meat handling and storage; Ensure procurement management for the department, analyzing and administering inventory levels and their sales history, seasonality, and specific promotions, scheduling orders with appropriate lead time to guarantee supply and stock availability without shortages, losses, or stockouts; Organize and store leftover bones, fat, and tallow in the designated collector box for sale to bone-processing factories; Ensure the product counter is always fully stocked, correctly priced, organized, and clean, guiding, controlling, and monitoring daily routines; Ensure proper receipt of goods, as well as organizing, directing, and/or storing items in freezers and chillers, following hygiene, safety, and pre\-established standards; Guarantee people management regarding time-off schedules, hour banks, vacations, and other work schedule-related matters, through monitoring managerial reports provided by the HR department and providing guidance to employees; Promote professional development and team motivation through continuous feedback, performance monitoring, and enhancement via technical and behavioral training; Participate in periodic departmental inventories and ensure data accuracy; Conduct ongoing training and guidance for the team; Requirements Maintain team unity and engagement despite daily differences and challenges Maintain an attractive, eye-catching counter with optimal product exposure Manage, prevent, and control losses and stockouts, considering store context, timing, seasonality, and location. **Additional Information:** Relevant experience in the Butchery department **Preferred Academic Qualification:** Completed or currently pursuing a bachelor's degree **Minimum Academic Qualification:** Completed high school **Specific Knowledge:** Meat deboning processes, specialized cutting techniques, counter setup knowledge, food handling, sales analysis, margin assessment, loss tracking, and production control **Age:** Over 18 years old **Benefits:** Health Insurance Dental Insurance Pharmacy Benefit Plan Retail Store Purchase Discount Program Life Insurance * Position available for persons with disabilities (PCD)
