Job Summary: The professional will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service at the checkout, performing cash withdrawal and checkout closing operations, and contributing to achieving targets and reducing losses. With multi-family management, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Receive the cash bag with the supervisor, verify its contents, place it in the checkout, log in as operator, begin the day by taking the opening reading, clean the checkout, serve customers and visitors, register products and merchandise individually, verify pre-packaged items, receive sales payments, complete administrative forms and reports, request testing of appliances, assist in packing merchandise, and perform cash withdrawals (supervisor). ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the checkout, following established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards—scanning/weighing products, consulting code tables, checking product labels, verifying weight on scales and system correspondence, processing payments; for checks, confirm prior authorization and make appropriate notations on the back; for cash, verify authenticity; Ensure cash withdrawals during business hours and proper checkout closing, including counting cash, reconciling totals, signing documentation, delivering it to the supervisor and/or depositing into a safe or 24-hour cash box—thus avoiding excessive exposed cash and ensuring accountability; Contribute to achieving current campaign targets by offering available products and services, identifying missing items, and reporting them to the supervisor for action; Contribute to reducing front-of-checkout losses through preventive measures such as minimizing plastic bag waste, preventing theft, promptly returning perishables, etc. Maintain the workplace and equipment in optimal working and clean condition; request plastic bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist in sorting merchandise for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Support related tasks as needed, including shelf and checkout restocking, pricing and expiry date verification of merchandise, gift packaging, etc. Requirements **Academic Qualification:** Completed High School **Additional Information:** 100% in-person position **Work Location:** Rua Dr Pedro Zimmermann, 7155, Itoupava Central \- Blumenau, SC **Working Hours:** 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM Compensation allowance for Sundays worked **Benefits:** Attendance Bonus Checkout Closing Bonus Transportation Voucher Childcare Assistance Rede TOP Store Shopping Discount Program Life Insurance Health Plan Dental Plan Cafeteria with snacks/coffee Disciplinary Evaluation Professional Advancement * Position available for Persons with Disabilities (PCD)
