With multifamily management, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for cash register operations and customer service, adhering to protocols, rules, regulations, and predefined standards; registering merchandise and receiving payments; performing cash drawer withdrawals, closing procedures, and reporting daily financial activity at the end of the shift. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the cash register by following protocols, rules, regulations, and predefined standards; scanning/weighing products; consulting code tables; checking product labels, scale weight, and system accuracy; processing payments; verifying prior authorization and making appropriate notations on the back of checks when applicable; and verifying currency authenticity when handling cash; Ensure cash drawer withdrawals during the shift and proper closing procedures, including counting cash, reconciling totals, signing reports, and delivering them to the Supervisor and/or depositing funds into a safe or 24-hour cash box to prevent excessive exposure of cash and ensure accurate accounting; Contribute to achieving goals of current campaigns by promoting available products and services, identifying missing items, and promptly notifying the Supervisor for corrective action; Contribute to reducing loss rates at the checkout area through preventive actions such as minimizing plastic bag waste, preventing theft, and ensuring rapid returns of perishable goods, etc. Maintain the work area and equipment in optimal working and clean condition; request plastic bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist with packing and preparing merchandise for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Assist with related tasks whenever necessary, such as shelf stocking, checkout stand replenishment, product pricing and expiration date verification, gift wrapping, etc. Requirements **Academic qualification:** Completed elementary education **Additional information:** 100% on-site position **Work location:** Av.
