With multi-family management, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for supervising, organizing, controlling, and monitoring daily operations in the Butcher Department; guiding and clarifying team members’ questions; preparing and managing work schedules, overtime, and time-off requests; defining priorities and requirements related to cutting, weighing, pricing, restocking, and packaging; standardizing procedures to maximize operational efficiency, product and service quality, while complying with regulations, best practices manuals, hygiene and safety standards, established guidelines, and performance targets; as well as directly serving and selling to customers. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure a positive shopping experience for customers by meeting their needs, surprising them with guidance on product variety, and making appropriate sales suggestions; Achieve and exceed sales targets through strategic planning of product mix, scheduling production and display of high-demand and distinctive products, and maintaining courteous customer relationships; Minimize losses and waste in the butcher department by guiding, monitoring, and controlling daily team activities and operations, defining and standardizing operational procedures, and supervising proper meat handling and storage; Manage procurement orders for departmental merchandise, analyze and administer inventory levels—including historical sales data, seasonality, and specific promotions—and schedule purchases sufficiently in advance to ensure continuous supply without stockouts, losses, or disruptions; Organize and store leftover bones, fat, and tallow in designated collection boxes for sale to bone-processing factories; Ensure the product counter is always fully stocked, correctly priced, organized, and clean—guiding, controlling, and monitoring daily routines; Oversee goods receipt, and organize, direct, and/or store items in freezing and refrigeration chambers, adhering to hygiene, safety, and pre\-established standards; Manage personnel matters including vacation schedules, time banks, leave entitlements, and other work-hour-related requirements, using managerial reports provided by the HR department and offering guidance to employees; Promote professional development and team motivation through regular feedback, performance monitoring, and technical and behavioral training programs; Participate in periodic departmental inventories and ensure data accuracy; Conduct ongoing training and guidance sessions for the team; Requirements Maintain team unity and engagement despite individual differences and daily challenges Keep the counter attractive, eye-catching, and optimally displayed Manage, prevent, and control losses and stockouts by understanding store context, timing, seasonality, and location. **Additional Information:** Relevant experience in the butcher department **Preferred Academic Qualification:** Completed or ongoing undergraduate degree **Minimum Academic Qualification:** Completed high school **Specific Knowledge Required:** Meat deboning processes, specialized cutting techniques, counter setup, food handling, sales analysis, margin assessment, loss tracking, and production control **Age:** Over 18 years old **Benefits:** Health Insurance Dental Insurance Pharmacy Benefits Program Retail Store Purchase Benefits Life Insurance * This position is open to candidates with disabilities (PCD's)
