Propose technical improvements and test configuration sequences **Description** **The opportunity:** This position is responsible for conceptualizing, developing, modifying, analyzing, and optimizing mechanical designs of distribution transformers, equipment, systems, or installations—including manufacturing specifications (low to moderate complexity)—to meet the company's product technical requests and changes, ensuring efficient, cost-effective implementation in accordance with contractual specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. This is a 100% on-site position in Blumenau. **How you will make an impact:** 1\. Execute and develop basic projects or project components for manufacturing parts of company products (transformers), subcomponents, and/or equipment through drawings and sketches, calculations of dimensions, capacity, mass, volume, etc., using CAD stations/applications (2D and 3D), performing necessary adjustments and optimizations. 2\. Develop technical drawings by examining, reading, and interpreting standards and technical specifications, as well as other complete project documentation for compliance and quality assurance, while generating detailed bills of materials (including bolts, washers, and other transformer components), following required specifications, departmental procedures, and company standards. 3\. Provide technical support to contract control personnel regarding claims, new scope-of-work changes (projects), cost impacts, schedule impacts, risk quantifications, etc., guided by department management and/or more experienced designers and engineers, clarifying doubts and providing high-quality, cost-effective project alternatives and solutions aligned with customer requirements, budget forecasts, and contracts, while ensuring adherence to safety standards and mitigation of potential risks. 4\. Study project operational requirements based on layouts, sketches, and technical needs to optimize costs, perform technical calculations to substantiate work, and provide technical support to departments, oversee assembly, clarify mechanical technical drawings, and address other support demands. 5\. Develop execution plans by defining mechanical methods and processes, aligning with project activity scheduling—including modifications and revisions (mechanical, calculations)—to contribute to meeting agreed-upon demands, characteristics, and deadlines with customers, while providing guidance and necessary information to ensure required mechanical quality standards and productivity. 6\. Occasionally contact suppliers and service providers to evaluate quotations and delivery timelines, guide and conduct technical visits and inspections, certify or recommend third-party purchases or contracts, and assist customers technically—providing guidance, repairs, adjustments, and adaptations. 7\. Guide and provide technical assistance to customers and production teams, clarifying technical questions or advising on service development, thoroughly preparing designs and CAD models (2D and 3D) for production, incorporating lessons learned across various models, materials, and suppliers, analyzing and mitigating risks, monitoring assembly and functional tests of products, and updating bills of materials until drawing completion—thus achieving high-quality drawings and models. 8\. Support other business areas (Procurement, Planning, Operations) by organizing technical lists and item master data in the company’s enterprise resource planning system, SAP. 9\. Propose improvements to existing technical methods and test configuration sequences based on experience and knowledge of emerging trends and equipment. 10\. Comply with the Corporate Safety Master Plan and use required personal protective equipment (PPE) for factory activities. 11\.
