Providing technical support to teams and customers in the field of transformers **Description** **The Opportunity:** Responsible for conceptualizing, developing, modifying, analyzing, and optimizing medium-complexity dry-type insulating transformer projects—including manufacturing specifications (of moderate size)—to meet the company’s product technical requests and changes, enabling efficient, cost-effective implementation in accordance with contractual specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. This is a position fully based in Blumenau. **How You Will Make an Impact:** 1\. Execute and develop electrical and mechanical projects—or parts thereof—for manufacturing company products (transformers), subcomponents, and/or equipment, using drawings and sketches, and performing calculations related to dimensions, capacity, mass, volume, etc., utilizing CAD workstations/applications (2D and 3D), and implementing necessary adjustments and optimizations. 2\. Act as a technical drawing expert or consultant by reviewing, reading, and interpreting complete technical standards, specifications, and other project documentation for compliance and quality assurance; additionally, generate detailed material lists (including bolts, washers, and other transformer components), adhering to required specifications, departmental procedures, and company standards. 3\. Provide technical support to contract management personnel regarding claims, new scope-of-work changes (projects), cost impact, schedule impact, risk quantification, etc., guided by department management and/or more experienced engineers, clarifying doubts and offering viable, high-quality, cost-effective solutions aligned with customer requirements, budget forecasts, and contractual terms, while ensuring adherence to safety standards and mitigation of potential risks. 4\. Study project operational requirements based on layouts, sketches, and technical needs—optimizing costs and performing technical calculations to substantiate work—as well as providing technical support to departments, overseeing assembly, clarifying mechanical technical drawings, and addressing other support demands. 5\. Develop execution plans by defining methods and processes, aligning with project activity scheduling sequences—including changes and revisions (calculations)—to contribute toward meeting demand requirements, characteristics, and agreed-upon client deadlines, delivering necessary information to ensure required mechanical quality and productivity standards. 6\. Occasionally contact suppliers and service providers to evaluate quotations and delivery timelines, conduct technical site visits and inspections, certify or recommend third-party purchases or contracting, and assist customers technically—including guidance, repairs, adjustments, and adaptations. 7\. Provide technical assistance to customers and production teams—clarifying technical questions or guiding service development—while meticulously preparing designs and CAD models for production, incorporating lessons learned across various models, materials, and suppliers; analyzing and mitigating risks; monitoring assembly and functional testing of products; and updating material lists until finalization of drawings—thereby achieving high-quality drawings and models. 8\.
