Job Summary:
Responsible for ensuring excellence in executing the production plan by managing production, materials, and capacity planning, and serving as the liaison between Sales, Operations, and Procurement.
Key Highlights:
1. Lead master production planning and manage production sequencing.
2. Ensure appropriate inventory levels and collaborate closely with Procurement.
3. Lead and develop the PCP and Materials Planning team.
**Requirements:**
* Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields;
* Postgraduate degree or specialization in Operations, Supply Chain, or related areas is desirable;
* Experience in PCP management within an industrial environment;
* Experience in materials planning, inventory management, and MRP;
* Experience in productive capacity management (internal and outsourced);
* Integrated involvement with S&OP, Production, Procurement, and Logistics processes;
* Knowledge of ERP systems and planning tools;
* Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Manufacturing);
* English and Spanish are desirable.
**Responsibilities:**
* Responsible for ensuring excellence in executing the company's production plan through integrated management of production, materials, and internal/external (contract manufacturing) capacity planning, ensuring balance among service level, operational efficiency, inventory, and industrial productivity;
* Serve as the liaison between sales planning (S&OP), operations, and Procurement to enable business result delivery;
* Lead master production planning, ensuring alignment with guidelines defined in the S&OP process;
* Manage production sequencing and capacity balancing, optimizing resources and reducing bottlenecks;
* Monitor and address production constraints, ensuring operational fluidity and stability;
* Track adherence to the production plan, implementing adjustments and replanning as needed;
* Manage materials requirements planning to ensure availability of inputs for production;
* Maintain appropriate inventory levels (raw materials and finished goods support), balancing working capital and service level;
* Collaborate closely with Procurement to anticipate supply risks and propose solutions;
* Monitor key material metrics: inventory turnover, coverage, and stockouts;
* Plan and distribute production workload across internal capacity and external partners (contract manufacturers);
* Manage third-party performance, tracking deadlines, productivity, quality, and cost;
* Develop and maintain relationships with production partners to ensure operational reliability and scalability;
* Act as the primary responsible party for translating demand plans into industrial execution and procurement needs;
* Actively participate in the S&OP cycle, contributing capacity analysis, constraint assessment, and operational scenario evaluation;
* Ensure continuous alignment among Production, Procurement, Commercial, and Logistics;
* Define, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (e.g., plan adherence, service level, inventory turnover, On-Time-In-Full, productivity);
* Identify opportunities for improvement across the production chain, promoting efficiency initiatives and cost reduction;
* Implement and disseminate continuous improvement practices and operational excellence (Lean Manufacturing);
* Lead and develop the PCP and Materials Planning team, fostering high performance and technical capability;
* Establish routines, processes, and governance mechanisms to ensure predictability and consistency in execution.
