




Job Summary: The Performance Specialist will manage and monitor locomotive fleet performance, serve as the primary contact for customers, and execute maintenance initiatives. Key Highlights: 1. Supporting in-shop initiatives and managing customized maintenance programs. **Job Description** **This position requires on-site work in Curitiba, PR / Araraquara, SP.** **Who will you work with?** The fleet management team interacts with internal and external customers. We are responsible for program and contract management, heavy maintenance, maintenance cycle management, cost control, and reliability. **How will you make a difference?** As a member of the fleet management team, you will be responsible for delivering reports on fleet reliability metrics, daily monitoring and management of asset performance. In partnership with the Performance Manager and Analyst, you will serve as the customer contact point for service- and reliability-related matters. The Performance Specialist works directly at the customer site and collaborates with internal teams such as Reliability Engineering and Field Service to plan and execute in-shop initiatives, manage FTONs/FMIs, define work scopes, and manage customized maintenance programs for locomotive fleets. **What do we want to know about you?** * Bachelor's degree in Engineering * Prior experience using PDCA, 5W2H, and Gantt chart planning tools; * Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; * Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time; * Advanced/Fluent English; * Demonstrated networking and influencing capabilities; * Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines; * Strong oral and written communication skills, with ability to interact effectively across all internal and external team levels; * Commitment to customer satisfaction; **Desirable** * Solid technical expertise and analytical skills. Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt certifications are a plus; **Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:** * Supporting the FPM in internal and customer communications regarding fleet performance, reliability program status, warranty matters, and investigation of specific issues; * Maintaining tracking systems (CCD, Reliance, and other systems) and developing project execution plans and FMIs to achieve internal targets for assigned customer fleets; * Building networks with engineering, fleet management, and program management teams to seek and share information on reliability problem solutions. * Supporting engineering in developing detailed work scopes with schedules and planned expenditures for modification programs (FMIs); * Supporting the execution and planning of Overhaul programs for all assigned locomotive fleets; * Supporting post-project analyses to assess reliability, FMI effectiveness, and cost or productivity targets; * Supporting the FPM’s direct reports — assigning fleets, coaching, guiding processes, and developing and expanding the team through coaching and delegation; **Benefits:** At Wabtec, people come first.
