Coordinate and oversee seed production, processing, and storage, ensuring execution in accordance with targets and guidelines, and manage the unit’s operational routines with a focus on efficiency and results.

Coordinate and monitor seed production, processing, and storage activities, ensuring process execution aligns with targets and guidelines established by the Cooperative. Organize and direct the unit’s operational routines, participating in joint planning with the Area Management to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards, physical and fiscal process quality, and appropriate service delivery to cooperatives, customers, and suppliers—focusing on efficiency, ethics, and value generation for the Cooperative.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Coordinate and assign team tasks, monitor productive process execution, and promote technical and behavioral development of employees through structured guidance and continuous feedback.
* Manage the department’s budget, controlling fixed and variable costs to ensure economic efficiency and sustainability of results.
* Represent the seed department before the Board of Directors, Fiscal Council, Administrative Council, customers, cooperatives, suppliers, industry associations, and regulatory agencies, as required.
* Participate in unit-level planning together with Management, contributing technical and operational analyses to define goals, priorities, and action plans.
* Monitor achievement of production, quality, and deadline targets, implementing necessary adjustments to attain desired outcomes.
* Monitor seed processing and storage processes, ensuring compliance with internal standards and current legislation—particularly MAPA (Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply) regulations.
* Ensure efficient integration between field-based seed production management and operational planning for intake, guaranteeing timely information flow regarding varieties, volumes, harvest schedules, moisture levels, and quality.
* Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within departmental processes, aiming to increase efficiency, quality, and competitiveness.
* Serve internal and external customers, monitoring delivered product quality and ensuring adherence to established standards.
* Track and analyze departmental operational KPIs, reporting results to Management and supporting unit performance evaluation.
* Contribute to reviewing norms and procedures related to seed intake, processing, and storage, ensuring alignment with strategic guidelines.
* Strategically manage input and seed inventories, integrating production, inventory, sales, and logistics data to maximize efficiency and minimize losses.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or related fields;
* Specialization in seeds is considered a plus;
* Proven experience in people management;
* Experience managing seed processing units;
* Knowledge of seed production legislation;
* Knowledge of inventory management;
* Knowledge of budgetary statement analysis;
* Advanced Microsoft Office suite and SAP;
* Willingness to reside in Guarapuava/Entre Rios – PR.
