




Job Summary: The professional will be responsible for developing and implementing the OSH policy, identifying variables controlling occupational diseases, incidents, and quality of life, and investigating and analyzing incidents. Incident investigation and analysis for continuous improvement As a member of the company's SESMT1, participate in the development and implementation of occupational health and safety policy; contribute to diagnosing the organization's OSH status; identify variables controlling occupational diseases, incidents, quality of life, and environmental conditions; contribute to developing educational activities in occupational health and safety; participate in the adoption of technologies and work processes; investigate and analyze workplace incidents and recommend preventive and control measures, always aiming for “Zero Accidents”; execute operational-level activities related to the SGI2, acting both reactively and preventively by verifying root causes, unsafe acts during local investigations, working conditions, general installations, materials, methods, and operational processes. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Monitor and follow up on actions recommended in SGI action plans, ensuring implementation of proposed measures by respective departments, with the objective of correcting deficiencies or minimizing unsafe working and environmental conditions; * Contribute to preparing training programs related to working and environmental conditions, such as use of safety equipment, first aid, fire fighting, pollution control, among others, aiming to raise awareness about targeted prevention; * Support implementation of educational programs on incident prevention and health campaigns, promoting dissemination methods, distributing informative materials, and ensuring compliance with rules and conditions—or acts—that could lead to anomalies or incidents, thereby raising employee awareness regarding Health, Environment, and Safety conditions; * Encourage and monitor application of special protective devices—including appropriate clothing, goggles, masks, belts, and other PPE3 and collective protection equipment (EPC4), providing guidance on proper use, hygiene, and storage of PPE and EPC, proposing improvements and operational effectiveness measures to ensure protection against incidents and other personal or property damage; * Conduct visits across the company’s various operational units to assess potential fire hazards, product spills, unsafe acts, and other dangers, providing recommendations to safeguard personnel’s physical integrity and occupational health, as well as environmental preservation; * Investigate various workplaces, analyzing occupational characteristics and ambient conditions, to evaluate the need for issuance of insalubrity and/or hazard reports by external specialized consultants, based on employee exposure levels; * Recommend preventive requirements for Health, Environment, and Safety—especially in operational activities—by assessing risks, conditions, and protective measures, aiming to develop procedures that avoid or minimize adverse effects on human life and the environment; * Investigate workplace incidents, evaluating causes and consequences of accidents, actively participating in investigations with competent authorities, examining evidence, equipment or facility failures, or human error, aiming to adopt preventive safety measures and comply with applicable legislation; * Record occurring irregularities by completing appropriate forms, compiling incident statistics and specific indices to obtain data supporting improvements in safety conditions; * Participate in drafting and reviewing various reports, risk mappings, and other requirements related to safety, occupational health, and environmental protection, implementing action plans and recommending or contributing with reports and suggestions to meet legal requirements or improve workplace safety, health, and environmental conditions; * Participate in occupational safety meetings, contributing to CIPA5 process guidance, discussing topics, presenting suggestions, proposing training, and also supporting actions related to election and inauguration of committee members; * Support SIPAT6 planning processes, executing and/or guiding CIPA on logistical arrangements—including venue setup, lecture organization, simulations, cost assessments, provision of gifts, transportation, furniture rentals, equipment, and safety artifacts—as well as sponsorship coordination, event promotion, and staff notifications, aiming to fulfill the established schedule; * Maintain internal contacts to meet PPE needs, alert staff to unsafe acts, enforce procedures, collect statistical data, among other tasks, aiming to implement SGI actions; * Act proactively during medical emergencies or workplace incidents—providing first aid, advising supervisors, or taking appropriate steps for removals and referrals—seeking support from internal and external departments and notifying competent official authorities, aiming to restore normal operational flow;
