Description

Job Summary: Manage and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance programs, engineering projects, and institutional support services to ensure operational efficiency and compliance. Implement sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives. Ensure the development and implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance programs for facilities, medical equipment, HVAC systems, electrical, hydraulic, and infrastructure systems, as well as coordinate the maintenance team by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring efficient execution of daily activities. Coordinate engineering projects, including renovations and new constructions, ensuring that projects are executed according to established schedules and budgets while meeting quality requirements. Responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and controlling the operational delivery of institutional support services, covering reception and access control, asset security, parking, and outsourced facilities contracts, ensuring operational continuity, service quality, compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, appropriate resource management, adherence to institutional safety and efficiency standards, and integration of these activities with the institution’s clinical, administrative, and strategic needs. Contribute to achieving departmental goals by developing and implementing equipment and facility conservation and maintenance plans for the institution, ensuring activities meet predefined performance levels, maintaining appropriate usage and preservation conditions of premises, and developing maintenance plans in collaboration with requesting departments. Ensure definition and optimization of maintenance methods and means, aiming to improve facility performance in terms of cost and equipment utilization rates, as well as develop and implement sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives to reduce operational costs and environmental impact, monitor and evaluate energy and resource consumption, and propose continuous improvements; Ensure scheduling and control of installation services and machine/equipment shutdowns for preventive and corrective maintenance, aiming to minimize equipment downtime and maintain optimal conditions across various equipment; Provide technical support to institutional departments, including evaluation of new medical and technological equipment, collaborating with clinical teams to ensure medical equipment operates correctly and meets patient needs. Plan, organize, direct, and control engineering projects for construction and maintenance of buildings and structures, defining systems and operational programs, coordinating standardization, rationalization, and cost-benefit evaluation processes for engineering programs and procedures; Contribute to budget preparation and monitoring for the engineering and maintenance department, including forecasting maintenance and capital project costs, negotiating supplier and service provider contracts to achieve optimal cost-benefit outcomes, and developing project execution schedules based on budgeting and procurement of material, human, and service resources; Ensure all maintenance and engineering activities comply with health and safety regulatory standards, implementing occupational safety policies and procedures, staff training, and recordkeeping. Ensure effectiveness of the preventive maintenance plan by evaluating repair needs for machines and equipment based on equipment wear, adherence to technical standards set by manufacturers, and operational convenience of process shutdowns, thereby enabling better equipment utilization and avoiding area disruptions and impacts on service volume; Other duties as assigned...
