JOB DESCRIPTION** We are seeking a Project Manager to lead the coordination and execution of technology projects focused on the sanitation sector. The professional will be responsible for ensuring on-time, on-scope, and on-budget delivery, acting as the liaison between technical teams, internal stakeholders, and major clients. The position involves sizing and estimating software requirements using metrics such as Function Point Analysis (FPA) and/or Unified Production Activities by Complexity (UPAC), alongside solid project management expertise. **? KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Plan, execute, and monitor system development and implementation projects, ensuring adherence to defined schedules, scopes, and budgets. * Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (developers, analysts, DBAs) in delivering technical outputs, promoting alignment and productivity. * Manage communication with clients (state-level sanitation companies), ensuring transparency regarding project progress and expectation management. * Develop and maintain detailed schedules, risk matrices, status reports, and other project management artifacts. * Identify operational bottlenecks and propose improvements to development and delivery processes, contributing to reduced lead time. * Support demand prioritization and backlog ticket management with technical teams. * Perform software requirement estimation and sizing using metrics such as FPA and UPAC, per each client’s contractual model. * Monitor project performance indicators (KPIs/OKRs) and report results to senior management. * Participate in strategic meetings with clients and stakeholders, including occasional travel to other states when required. * Contribute to continuous improvement of the company’s project management processes, including use of tools such as Redmine. **✅ MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS** * Completed undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or related fields. * Minimum of 3 (three) years’ experience in IT project management. * Knowledge of project management methodologies (PMBOK, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid approaches). * Experience with software requirement estimation and sizing (software metrics). * Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with different clients and deadlines. * Proficiency in developing schedules, risk matrices, and managerial reports. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to interact with corporate clients and public agencies. * Willingness to undertake occasional travel to other states. * **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** * PMI certification (PMP, CAPM) or specialization/postgraduate degree in Project Management. * CFPS (Certified Function Point Specialist) or CFPP certification issued by IFPUG. * Practical experience with Function Point Analysis (FPA) and/or UPAC in IT contracts. * Experience with public sector or basic sanitation projects. * Knowledge of ERP, CRM, or corporate management systems (e.g., GSAN). * Familiarity with project management tools such as Redmine, Jira, or MS Project. * Experience with public procurement processes and administrative contracts. * Basic knowledge of databases (SQL) and Java system architecture. * Experience defining and tracking OKRs. **?
