Job Summary: Responsible for operating the cash register, performing closings and collections, and ensuring the accurate execution of financial processes with excellence in customer service. Key Highlights: 1. Operate the POS system and manage the cash register accurately. 2. Interact with customers, clarify doubts, and ensure courteous service. 3. Support the team and organize fiscal documents and reports. #### **About the position:** * Accurately, courteously, and efficiently close and collect customer checks, ensuring that the restaurant’s financial and operational processes are executed correctly and in accordance with the hotel’s service standards. #### **Main responsibilities:** * Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, processing bill payments and finalizing customer checks. * Verify payment methods (cash, credit card, charge to room, etc.) and issue receipts/invoices. * Manage cash register opening and closing procedures, verifying amounts and recording transactions in the system. * Clarify customer questions regarding billing, invoice amounts, and other matters related to guest experience. * Report discrepancies, payment refusals, or operational issues to the maître or manager. * Support the service team by providing information on check status and account releases. * Organize fiscal documents, requisitions, guest records, and cash reports according to internal procedures. * Record requisitions and handle other internal departmental process requirements. * Maintain professional demeanor, appearance, communication, and courteous service when interacting with guests and customers. #### **Mandatory requirements:** * Completed high school education. * Specific training: POS system operation, cash flow management, payment methods, and invoice issuance. #### **Desirable requirements (advantage):** * Minimum of 1 year of experience as a cashier in hotels, restaurants, or related areas. #### **Benefits:** * Transportation allowance * Salvia (Telemedicine | Tele-specialist) * Wellhub (formerly Gympass) * Health insurance * Dental insurance * Birthday day off * On-site meals * Discounts on accommodations within the hotel chain #### **Work schedule and hours:** * Rotating shift schedule: 5 days on, 1 day off * Shift hours: 4:00 PM to 12:03 AM
