Material Handling Assistant

Description

Job Summary: Responsible for vehicle loading and unloading, warehouse organization, product handling, and maintenance of safety and quality standards, in accordance with internal policies. Key Highlights: 1. Vehicle loading and unloading and warehouse organization 2. Product quality and safety maintenance 3. Participation in continuous improvement initiatives and compliance with internal policies 1. Perform vehicle loading and unloading using pallet jacks according to the daily schedule; 2\. Conduct vehicle check-in prior to loading and unloading, following the pre-use checklist; 3\. Organize and execute material movements on equipment, correcting shortages and damages within the production cycle timeframe. 4\. Perform the daily pre-use checklist for pallet jacks, as per departmental procedures; 5\. Ensure product quality and prioritize safety during loading operations; 6\. Maintain general warehouse cleanliness, organization, and upkeep, applying the 5S methodology; 7\. Fulfill responsibilities in alignment with Unilever’s internal policies on health, safety, environment, and quality; 8\. Report factory accidents and incidents per Unilever’s internal policy. 9\. Supply raw materials required for production up to the production line; KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 10\. Retrieve finished product pallets to the dispatch collection point; 11\. Identify and document improvement opportunities within your work environment; 12\. Understand and comply with General Loss Control Rules; 13\. Develop Point-to-Point Lessons (LPPs) related to your area; 14\. Participate in area risk assessments when requested; 15\.
