Job Summary: Opportunity for a Diesel Mechanic to perform corrective and preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, component repair, and testing, with emphasis on documentation and safety. Focus on documentation and workplace safety * ***NOTE: SALARY TO BE AGREED UPON*** * **Corrective Maintenance:** Repair of engines, pumps, compressors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems. * **Preventive Maintenance:** Oil and filter changes, battery inspections, belt and hose checks, and safety inspections. * **Fault Diagnosis:** Use of engine analyzers, portable computers, and measuring instruments. * **Component Repair:** Engine reconditioning, repair of transmission systems, differentials, and axles. * **Testing and Adjustments:** Test drives on trucks, valve adjustments, and alignment. * **Documentation and Safety:** Completion of service orders, preparation of technical reports, and compliance with environmental and occupational safety regulations.
