




Job Summary: Responsible for receiving, ensuring quality, distributing, and controlling linen for all units of Santa Casa BH, including sorting and repairs. Key Highlights: 1. Maintaining linen organization and traceability Receive linen from the laundry and ensure quality, distribution, and control of linen for all units of Santa Casa BH. **Schedule:** 12x36 shift — 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM; alternating shift in February/26\. If mechanical damage is confirmed, isolate the item for laundry follow-up; * Sort garments received from the laundry by item type, floor, and designated shelf for fiber rest. Remember: first-in, first-out; * Perform daily cleaning of shelves and tables (POP), and other duties relevant to the position; * Perform daily cleaning of trolleys; * Perform weekly hygiene of trolleys; * Sort and count garments for distribution per floor/sector according to the daily distribution and exchange schedule per floor and wing. Record on the dedicated worksheet the number of items and weight to be distributed; scan items using the linen traceability system to ensure all items are registered; * Store linen, prioritizing fiber rest. Bag garments using clean packaging bags supplied by the contracted laundry. Label each bag with quantity, floor, and wing; * Assemble pre-defined kits and distribute them per patient admission, coordinated by floor and wing assistants; * Fulfill additional garment requests when authorized by the supervisor, always recording items and weight in the protocol logbook or worksheet; * Weigh all garments distributed per floor and wing and record in control worksheets — time, quantities, and any sector-specific details; * Record quantity of garments returned to the laundry as “relave” and deduct from the weighing worksheet; * Deliver linen to departments in the agreed quantity and timeframe; * Conduct inventory when requested by the supervisor; * Log quantity of garments distributed per unit; * Respond to departmental requests; * Scan trolleys in the RFID cabin to confirm linen entry into the laundry room and weigh them for incoming linen quantity control; * Sort and store garments received from the laundry by item, recording the numbers of sheets received — already cleaned and sterilized — for control purposes; * Systematically inspect linen for repair needs and forward damaged items to seamstresses; * Organize linen on shelves; * Perform tasks adhering to occupational safety standards, properly using PPE and behavioral protocols, complying with applicable legislation and internal policies; * Support the immediate supervisor on matters related to the area, proposing and discussing solutions to problems and irregularities to inform action planning and support continuous improvement of area processes; * Perform other related duties of equivalent complexity upon request by the immediate supervisor. **Requirements and Qualifications** We are Santa Casa BH, and we work for a cause: delivering top-tier healthcare to everyone.
