If you want the opportunity to develop in a challenging environment, contribute with innovative practices, and consistently work toward improved interaction among teams, join AMG BRAZIL!!! **Responsibilities and Duties** * Fabricate, repair, and install various parts and components from metal sheets such as steel, galvanized iron, copper, tin, brass, aluminum, and zinc; manufacture or repair structures, pipes, tanks, reservoirs, and other containers from steel sheets; cut, shape, and process ferrous profiled bars. * Interpret technical drawings; * Perform boiler-making fabrication and services according to drawings. * Operate oxy-cutting and general industrial welding equipment. * Maintain a clean and organized workplace, properly disposing of waste materials. * Request and transport materials required for boiler-making activities. * Participate, when necessary, in failure analysis. * Receive, execute, and close boiler-making/welding service orders (OS), verifying required resources (parts, tools, instruments, appropriate location, etc.) to ensure quality and safety during execution. * Roll metal sheets to conform metals and other materials under pressure and deformation, giving them cylindrical, conical, or spherical shapes. * Technically evaluate boiler-making/welding services to be performed on parts, subassemblies, and assemblies, conducting visual inspections, verifying specific characteristics for each type of intervention, and defining sequences of operations to be executed. * Select appropriate materials by consulting and interpreting technical drawings, manuals, specifications, and other instructions to guarantee quality and safety of activities. * Prepare and clean parts, verify dimensions, mark out and punch parts, among other tasks, and finish rolled and welded areas to minimize burrs, spatter, and porosity resulting from these activities. * Conduct crack testing on metallic parts and weld inspection on structures, metallic bases, and pipe supports to prevent fatigue and component failure (defects). * Provide technical supervision of contractor boiler-making activities to ensure quality and safety of contracted services. * Perform welding using coated electrodes, fusion and filler metal welding, electrode cutting, oxyacetylene cutting, and plasma cutting. * Analyze scenarios and manage interferences during maintenance execution. * Comply with Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental policies and procedures. * Comply with company policies, programs, guidelines, and objectives. * Advise managers on effective communication regarding SSMAQ (Safety, Security, Health, Environment, and Quality) matters. * Participate in the development and continuous improvement of SSMAQ through implementation of internal and external best practices. * Attend daily safety meetings (DDS). **Requirements and Qualifications** **Education and Training** * Technical course in Mechanical Engineering or related fields preferred; * Course in Reading and Interpretation of Technical Drawings preferred; * Completed high school; Professional training and experience in Boiler-making or Welding. * **Competencies and Skills** * Knowledge of metal cutting and bending; * Welding using coated electrodes, MIG, TIG; * Interpersonal skills. **Additional Information** **Discover all AMG BENEFITS:** **HERE YOUR HEALTH IS A PRIORITY:** * Health insurance; * Pharmacy allowance; * Dental plan; * Wellhub (Gympass); * Telemedicine service. **TO SUPPORT YOUR NUTRITION:** * Food allowance; * On-site meals/snacks (based on work schedule). **MOBILITY FOR YOUR IN-PERSON WORKDAY:** * Chartered bus or transportation allowance. **FINANCIAL SECURITY AND PROTECTION:** * Profit-sharing program (PPR); * Private pension plan; * Life insurance; * Payroll-deductible loan. **FOR FAMILY—OUR MOST PRECIOUS ASSET:** * School supplies kit; * Newborn kit; * Extension of Unimed health and dental benefits to parents. **AMG ADVANTAGES:** * Discounts for employees and dependents at partner establishments. #### **If you believe you can make a difference and contribute with innovative practices,** **\#JOINAMG!** Here, our greatest purpose is to improve people’s lives.
