Description
Responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and monitoring actions related to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), ensuring compliance with legal standards, accident prevention, and promotion of a safe and healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and monitor OHS programs;
* Ensure compliance with Regulatory Standards (NRs) and current legislation;
* Conduct risk analyses, safety inspections, and audits;
* Investigate accidents and incidents, proposing corrective and preventive actions;
* Develop and monitor safety indicators;
* Prepare technical reports, expert opinions, and assessments;
* Deliver training sessions and awareness campaigns;
* Monitor CIPA processes, emergency response teams, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE);
* Prevent occupational diseases and promote workplace health;
* Support managers and teams on safety best practices;
* Accompany inspections and provide technical support to clients and competent authorities.
Requirements
* Completed undergraduate degree in Engineering;
* Postgraduate degree/Specialization in Occupational Safety Engineering;
* Active registration with the Regional Council of Engineering and Agronomy (CREA);
* Knowledge of Regulatory Standards (NRs) and labor/social security legislation;
* Experience in Occupational Health and Safety;
* Intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.
