




Job Summary: Responsible for handling, preparing, and finishing meals and desserts, controlling preparation time, evaluating flavor and texture, and collaborating on new recipes. Collaborate in the creation and testing of new preparations and recipes **Positions available for various shifts** 06:00–15:00, 07:00–16:00, 10:30–19:30 Handle, pre\-prepare, prepare, assemble, and finish meals, snacks, and desserts according to menu specifications and instructions from the Nutritionist. Control preparation time and cooking methods. Reheat pre\-prepared foods, ensuring safe temperatures. Evaluate food and preparations for flavor, aroma, color, and texture. Prepare broths, stocks, and sauces. Collaborate in the creation and testing of new preparations and recipes. Identify the need for new equipment and assist in acquiring equipment and utensils. Assist in assigning tasks among kitchen assistants under their responsibility, organizing work utensils and equipment. Weigh food items according to service routines. Ensure preservation, cleanliness, and sanitation of equipment, utensils, and work surfaces, as well as strict hygiene during food handling. Immediately inform the Production Supervisor and/or responsible Nutritionist of any supply shortages. Report equipment or facility damages to supervisors. Assist in coordinating the pantry/kitchen service for lunch, dinner, and snacks. Assist in developing Preparation Technical Sheets. Label clean leftovers (name, preparation date, expiration date) in accordance with RU’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Access cold rooms only when duly authorized, using appropriate PPE and following RU’s SOPs. Sanitize utensils, pots, and equipment according to SOPs after use, whenever necessary, and upon request.
