Job Summary: An occupational safety professional responsible for inspecting areas, analyzing workstations, guiding employees, and managing documentation to ensure occupational safety and health. Manage CIPA, training programs, and occupational safety documentation * Ensure worker safety by monitoring and inspecting areas, observing working conditions, identifying adverse situations, and emphasizing preventive activities. * Analyze workstations and their installations to identify root causes of potential accidents, thereby promoting preventive measures; * Guide employees regarding unsafe working conditions and acts, indicating procedures to be followed and necessary precautions to preserve health and physical integrity; * Inspect personal protective equipment (PPE) and fire-fighting equipment, verifying their proper functioning and validity, and taking appropriate actions to ensure workplace safety; * Inspect company premises and equipment that may constitute risk factors or accident sources, performing source-and-cause analysis to implement preventive measures ensuring safety; * Prepare Occupational Safety and Inspection Reports containing technical information about accident risks associated with machinery and equipment, aiming to define an action plan for accident prevention; * Request various maintenance services to guarantee safety and improve employee performance; * Request equipment relevant to the role, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), fire-fighting equipment, and others, complying with requirements set forth by the Fire Department and the Ministry of Labor; * Conduct the entire CIPA formation process, including announcing registration, notifying the labor union, conducting elections, holding inauguration ceremonies, and delivering training, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards; * Guide CIPA activities by attending periodic meetings and resolving existing questions; * Monitor admission and periodic medical examinations of company employees through the Occupational Health and Medical Control Program (PCMSO) to comply with Ministry of Labor requirements; * Safeguard and maintain all documentation related to Occupational Health and Safety, ensuring information integrity and readiness for inspection and consultation; * Complete PPE records for newly hired employees and conduct introductory training sessions to inform them about accident risks and company regulations; * Support the development of the PPRA, LTCAT, and PCMSO, performing environmental measurements and providing other required information; * Prepare the PPP, completing and ensuring accuracy of information under SESMT responsibility to comply with legislation; * Manage communications from the Occupational Health and Safety department, updating bulletin boards, posters, and notices with support from the Marketing department; * Conduct area-specific training sessions and track their frequency in accordance with legislation and internal company policies; * Support newly hired occupational safety technicians by orienting them on company SMS norms and internal procedures; * Accompany SMS audits conducted by customers at the factory.
