Job Summary:
The Wheel Alignment Technician will be responsible for vehicle geometry, alignment, and balancing across multiple vehicle brands, including inspection and maintenance of related components.
Key Highlights:
1. Responsible for wheel alignment, balancing, and axle geometry.
2. Evaluates and inspects suspension, steering, and brake components.
3. Performs diagnostics, part replacement, and general lubrication.
**We are seeking a Wheel Alignment Technician for Pelotas/RS:**
**Reporting to the area manager, your responsibilities will include:**
* Conducting axle inspection and geometry assessment; evaluating tire wear and balancing;
* Performing tire inspections focused on wear patterns;
* Assessing the condition of control arm bushings, steering tie rod ends, and checking for excessive play in axle knuckles;
* Inspecting vehicle suspension/brake systems, alignment, and balancing using 3D equipment;
* Knowledge of multiple vehicle brands;
* Performing greasing and general lubrication according to schedule or upon request;
* Diagnosing passenger vehicles, replacing parts, servicing suspension, steering, and brakes, performing balancing, tire replacement, alignment, and camber adjustment;
* Assisting in organizing the workplace, maintaining tools and equipment, and keeping the work area clean and orderly;
* Complying with company safety regulations;
* Communicating with tire shops regarding tire replacement and mechanical issues, among other tasks—suspension, clutches, electronic fuel injection, automotive air conditioning cleaning/maintenance/repair.
* Requesting replacement parts and auxiliary materials required to perform services;
* Carrying out other related duties as required by the department.
**Requirements**
* Completed high school education or technical training in wheel alignment mechanics;
* Driver's license category B is a plus;
* Experience in auto centers, as this role focuses on alignment—not engine mechanics;
* Completion of a 3D alignment course is a plus;
* Ability to work effectively in a team;
* Strong communication skills, organizational ability, and proactivity;
* Must provide excellent customer service, demonstrating willingness to assist customers with any inquiries.
