Description
Lead the Internal Controls area, ensuring the review, standardization, and monitoring of the company's critical processes, guaranteeing compliance with regulations, contracts, and internal policies, with a focus on loss reduction, risk mitigation, and enhanced reliability of management information.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Design and lead the Internal Controls framework, defining scope, priorities, and action plan;
* Ensure consolidation and updating of regulations and procedures (especially billing);
* Supervise monitoring of adherence to operational and contractual rules;
* Ensure proper validation of billing, including full and timely collections;
* Monitor and validate the Accounts Payable process, focusing on: consistency between charges and services rendered, and compliance in applying tax withholdings;
* Supervise participation in physical inventories, ensuring compliance and recording of losses;
* Ensure periodic audits are conducted in Procurement, Human Resources, Finance, and Accounting;
* Consolidate management reports with findings, risks, and action plans;
* Act as a strategic liaison between operational areas and senior management, promoting continuous process improvement, strengthening corporate governance, and aligning organizational practices with company objectives.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Completed undergraduate degree in Accounting.
* Minimum of 6 months’ experience in audit firms (Big Four or similar).
* Proven experience in Internal Controls, Internal/External Audit, and Controller functions.
**Desirable:**
* Business Intelligence tools (Power BI or similar)
* Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, TOTVS, Protheus or similar)
* Internal audit and control methodologies (Lean Office, Kaizen, Kanban, PDCA)
* Tax/fiscal knowledge
* Prior leadership experience
