Lead the operational team, monitoring fermentation processes, promoting continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and employee development. **Responsibilities** * Lead and guide the fermentation operators team, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and promoting technical and behavioral development. * Ensure execution of the fermentation process according to operational procedures, technical specifications, and production schedule. * Monitor critical fermentation process parameters, such as pH, temperature, dissolved oxygen, air flow rate, pressure, agitation, biomass, optical density, and other process indicators. * Monitor stages including inoculation, cell growth, feeding, transfer, harvest, and termination of cultures. * Ensure proper preparation, cleaning, sanitization (CIP/SIP), and sterilization of bioreactors and auxiliary equipment. * Guarantee correct sample collection and adherence to the microbiological and analytical monitoring plan. * Review laboratory results, identify deviations, and act promptly to contain and correct non-conformities. * Control consumption of raw materials, consumables, and utilities, seeking reduction of losses and increased productivity. * Record and ensure traceability of production information in physical forms and computerized systems. * Support investigations into deviations, contaminations, process losses, and production-related complaints. * Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). **Requirements** -------------- * **Education:** Completed Technical Education in Biotechnology, Chemistry, Food Science, Industrial Processes, or related fields. * Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or related disciplines. * Experience in industrial fermentation processes. * Experience leading operational teams in an industrial environment. * Experience in biotechnological, food, pharmaceutical, chemical, or bioprocess industries. * Experience with industrial bioreactors will be considered an advantage.
