




Job Summary: Professional responsible for planning, controlling, and monitoring all stages of the import process, ensuring regulatory compliance and resource optimization. Key Highlights: 1. Focus on compliance, costs, and operational efficiency **Responsibilities:** * Plan, control, and monitor all stages of the import process (from international negotiation through customs clearance to delivery). * Prepare, review, and analyze import documentation (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading/AWB, Certificate of Origin, Import License [LI], Import Declaration [DI], registrations with MAPA and ANVISA). * Manage and maintain up-to-date records of international suppliers, ensuring compliance with internal policies and food safety and quality regulations. * Calculate import costs, simulating exchange rate fluctuations, freight charges, port fees, and taxes (II, IPI, PIS/COFINS, ICMS). * Monitor shipment performance and deadlines in coordination with customs brokers, freight forwarders, insurers, and international carriers. * Ensure correct fiscal classification (NCM) and regulatory compliance for products and raw materials. • Support the registration process for new products and additives with MAPA/ANVISA, in partnership with Quality and Regulatory Affairs departments. * Monitor logistics cost indicators, operational efficiency metrics, and customs clearance timelines. * Maintain continuous alignment with Procurement, Tax, and Planning departments to prevent supply disruptions. * Propose improvements to import processes and workflows, contributing to resource optimization and enhanced efficiency. Essential Competencies (Organizational) * Commitment to Food Safety and Quality: understand the impact of the import process on the quality and safety of final products. * Compliance and Ethics: strictly adhere to legal, tax, sanitary, and environmental regulations in all international operations. • Focus on Internal Customers: respond promptly and accurately to requests from production and planning departments. * Operational Efficiency: pursue process simplification and cost reduction without compromising compliance. * Sustainability and Responsibility: adopt ethical, transparent practices aligned with the company’s strategy. **Technical Competencies** * Solid knowledge of import procedures (SISCOMEX, LI/DI, Radar, CE Mercante, Drawback). * In-depth understanding of customs, tax, and sanitary legislation related to food and inputs. * Proficiency in calculating total import costs, including exchange rate, freight, and tax simulations. * Mastery of INCOTERMS and key international trade documents. * Knowledge of fiscal classification (NCM) and special customs regimes. * Ability to read and interpret international contracts, payment terms, and letters of credit. * Experience with ERP Sankhya or similar systems and advanced spreadsheets (Excel / Power BI) is desirable. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business Administration, International Relations, Logistics, or related fields. * Postgraduate degree or specialization in International Trade Management or Supply Chain. * Languages: Intermediate or advanced English and/or Spanish (fluent reading and writing). **Benefits:** * Transportation allowance * Meal allowance (R$ 430.00) * Attendance bonus (R$ 200.00 paid via FLASH card) * Health insurance **Working Hours:** * Monday: 07:55–18:05; Tuesday–Friday: 07:55–17:50 Minimum Education Level: Postgraduate Degree – Specialization/MBA
