This role focuses on backend API, service, and critical integration development to support journeys such as card issuance, account management, credit limits, billing, transactions, authorizations, blocking/unblocking, and operational inquiries. **Your responsibilities will include:** * Developing and maintaining backend APIs and services using Java. * Integrating with the Dock processor and other internal or external systems. * Implementing business rules related to the card lifecycle. * Building scalable, secure, and financially compliant solutions. * Participating in technical analysis of requirements, architecture definition, and estimation. * Supporting investigations, fixes, and improvements to existing systems. * Ensuring delivery quality through best practices, testing, and documentation. * Collaborating closely with product, mobile, frontend, QA, architecture, and business teams. **What you need:** * Solid backend development experience in Java. * Proficiency in Spring Boot and REST API development. * Experience with microservices and system integration. * Knowledge of relational databases and SQL. * Experience with messaging, queues, or asynchronous processing. * Understanding of API security, authentication, and authorization. * Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and agile methodologies. * Ability to understand complex business rules and translate them into technical solutions. **Nice-to-have qualifications:** * Experience in the financial sector, credit cooperatives, cards, banking, or payment methods. * Prior experience integrating with the Dock processor. * Familiarity with card-related journeys—including issuance, authorization, billing, limits, blocking, dispute handling, and settlement. * Experience with cloud platforms, containers, Docker, or Kubernetes. * Knowledge of observability, logging, metrics, and monitoring for critical applications. * Experience with distributed architecture patterns and event-driven architecture.
