Job Summary: We are seeking a Warehouse Assistant to handle material movement, receipt, storage, and dispatch, ensuring adherence to procedures and safety regulations. Key Highlights: 1. Opportunity for professional development and technical updating We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join our team. Based in Sorocaba, Brazil, you will be responsible for performing activities related to material movement, receipt, storage, and dispatch, supporting production and billing while ensuring compliance with operational, fiscal, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations. * Dispatch optical fiber and preforms, ensuring compliance with established operational and logistical requirements. * Perform systemic and physical transfer of finished products from production, ensuring traceability and accurate system accounting. * Request issuance of sales invoices for optical fiber, in compliance with fiscal regulations and internal procedures. * Supply materials to production, ensuring continuity of the manufacturing process and preventing operational stoppages. * Receive and store raw materials in accordance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) guidelines and organizational and safety standards. * Properly dispose of waste and scrap, following applicable environmental, safety, and internal procedural requirements. * Participate in internal and external training as needed, based on availability or direction from your immediate supervisor, aiming at continuous professional development and technical updating. * Ensure safety during material loading and unloading activities, and communicate with and request specific work permits from HSE whenever necessary. **Who are we looking for?** We seek a candidate with the following skills and motivations: * Completed High School education * NR11 Forklift Operator Certification * Basic knowledge of logistics, inventory control, and material handling * Fundamental understanding of operational procedures * Familiarity with fiscal documentation (invoices and internal transfers) * Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations * Organizational skills and attention to detail * Teamwork and strong communication skills * Responsibility and operational discipline * Proactivity and willingness for continuous learning *Prysmian, as an Equal Opportunity Employer, aims to attract and recruit individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and abilities.
