If you identify with our purpose, let’s imagine and engineer the future—together? **Responsibilities and Duties** **Summary Description:** Control activities comprising the project scope, verifying adherence to defined milestones for the project to contribute to fulfilling contractual requirements. **Detailed Description:** * Execute activities related to project phases according to logical sequence, to comply with the critical path (sequence of longest-duration activities) established in the construction schedule. * Adhere to the execution schedule, fulfilling stages identified in the construction planning, applying implemented controls to ensure compliance with established deadlines. * Monitor activity progress through site visits, data collection, report generation, and other measures, to provide relevant information supporting timely delivery. * Generate and disseminate periodic construction progress reports, highlighting advances, bottlenecks, losses, and key execution-related risks, to ensure compliance with initially planned and forecasted deadlines. * Participate in periodic construction planning and control meetings with service providers to monitor deadlines and align necessary actions for schedule compliance. * Attend interface-area meetings related to contracts within your area of responsibility, to align and identify interferences potentially impacting the planned project development. * Perform assigned tasks per received planning, under supervision and/or support from more technically proficient professionals or immediate managers—even for occasional guidance or problem resolution. Does not yet demonstrate full proficiency across all processes, operations, or equipment within the area or full productivity level. * Support senior professionals in processes inherent to your functional area, leveraging their experience for self-development. * Participate in implementing departmental work plans and procedures, executing and monitoring required technical actions to achieve established objectives and goals. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Basic Requirements:** * **Technical degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields**, with proven experience in planning and executing industrial maintenance shutdowns. * **Proficiency in planning tools**, especially **Microsoft Project**, for developing and controlling shutdown schedules. * **Experience in planning and controlling industrial shutdowns**, including scope definition, activity sequencing, resource leveling, and execution monitoring. * **Knowledge of industrial mechanical maintenance**, involving equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, valves, piping, furnaces, or metallurgical equipment. * **Ability to integrate with multidisciplinary teams**, control schedule, cost, safety, and quality indicators, and participate in shutdown planning and monitoring meetings. * Preference for candidates residing in the following regions: **São Brás do Suaçuí** – approx. 15 km, **Belo Vale** – approx. 14 km, **Congonhas** – approx. 18 km, **Entre Rios de Minas** – approx. 16–22 km, **Conselheiro Lafaiete** – approx. 26–33 km, **Moeda** – approx. 30 km, **Queluzito** – approx. 25 km, **Piedade dos Gerais** – approx. 23 km, **Casa Grande** – approx. 30 km, and **Itabirito** – approx. 37 km. **Preferred Qualifications:** * **Experience in large-scale industrial shutdowns**, including detailed planning, shutdown control room operations, and field execution monitoring. * **Knowledge of structured planning methodologies**, such as critical path analysis, physical progress curve, short-term planning, and constraint management. * **Experience with maintenance management systems**, such as **SAP PM**, integrating maintenance orders with the schedule developed in **Microsoft Project**. * **Analytical and organized profile**, capable of anticipating schedule risks, supporting shutdown coordination decision-making, and proposing schedule recovery actions. **Additional Information** **Job Characteristics:** * Employment Type: Regular * Work Location: Jeceaba \- MG * Working Hours: 44 hours/week **Benefits Included in This Position:** * Health Insurance * Dental Insurance * Life Insurance * Transportation Allowance * Meal Allowance * Gympass Partnership Educational institution discounts and partnerships * At Timenow, we believe in the power of ideas—and even more so, in the ability to turn them into reality.
