If you are interested in being part of this purpose and wish to stay one step ahead of the market, join us! **About the Area:** Responsible for executing, guiding, and monitoring quality control activities within the technical area to ensure the quality of reports and patient safety. **Temporary Position to Cover Maternity Leave** **Main Responsibilities:** Perform and guide the execution and interpretation of low- and medium-complexity tests according to technical standards; Perform, monitor, and guide the reconstitution and use of internal and external quality control materials, calibrators, and supplies according to manufacturer technical specifications; Analyze internal quality control results, interpret Westgard rules and Levey\-Jennings charts; Guide and train the technical team in evaluating internal quality control and assay calibration results; Execute external quality control and report results to providers; Evaluate routine patient results issued by analytical equipment and assess the impact of mechanical errors and fatal flags on these routines; Communicate report corrections to external clients; Investigate technical inquiries and provide technical support to the biochemistry advisory team, medical advisory team, and post-analytical team; Conduct and deliver technical training to employees on topics related to equipment, results, procedures, and quality control; Log service requests and monitor corrective and preventive maintenance of equipment and supporting instruments; critically evaluate performed maintenance; Carry out activities related to Health and Safety processes inherent to the area (SSMA, DSSMA, Formal Inspection, FISPQ); Conduct and monitor cycles of the 5S Program; Develop and revise specific documents that support work task instructions, such as SOPs, POAs, MPEs, and POEs, and assist in managing departmental documents and records; Evaluate the Integrated Release System (SIL); Perform assay comparability; Perform Alternative External Evaluation; Execute validation protocols for new assays and compile data for the medical advisory team; **We seek someone who has: ** Bachelor’s degree completed in Biomedicine, Biological Sciences, or Pharmacy. Knowledge of Quality Control for Quantitative and Qualitative Assays; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
