Job Summary: This professional will assist in organizing the checkout area, operate cash registers when necessary, and support cashiers to ensure excellent customer service. Key Highlights: 1. Serve customers with excellence and maintain order. **Job Description:** ---------------------- Assist in organizing the checkout area and checkouts by evaluating the arrangement of work materials, hygiene, and cleanliness. Verify the availability of cardboard boxes, shopping carts, and baskets; confirm that checkouts are adequately stocked and properly priced. Ensure that products sold at the register are appropriately available. Assist in opening cash registers, providing change funds, and delivering information about products on promotion and/or daily offers. Perform reconciliation of delivery boxes and containers. Participate in team meetings for the checkout area when required, under management supervision. Operate cash registers when necessary. Support cashiers regarding operational procedures across various shifts. Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and collective protective equipment (CPE) by the team. Perform duties safely. Maintain and supervise the team in maintaining workplace cleanliness and order. Maintain and supervise the team in safeguarding work materials and company assets. Assist with general company tasks. Serve and supervise the team in serving customers with excellence—providing information, guiding them to product locations, and accompanying them to those locations. Maintain hygiene standards set by regulatory authorities.
