Follow hygiene standards, food safety protocols, and proper use of PPE The hospital seeks a Kitchen Assistant in Antônio Prado (Center). **Responsibilities:** Assist in meal preparation as directed by the nutrition team. Sort and prepare ingredients according to patients' specific dietary requirements. Sanitize food items, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Assemble trays and portion meals per dietary prescriptions. Distribute meals to patients and hospital departments. Monitor food expiration dates and ensure proper storage conditions. Maintain a clean, organized kitchen compliant with sanitary regulations. Follow hygiene standards, food safety protocols, and proper use of PPE. Support receiving and verification of food deliveries. Assist with other kitchen-related tasks as needed. Previous experience as a Kitchen Cook Assistant, Kitchen Helper, Kitchen Assistant, or Food Preparer may indicate suitability for some duties of this position. High school diploma required.
