The technician is responsible for installing, configuring, and testing all necessary equipment and applications to ensure full functionality of Zapi Internet services, ensuring customers understand basic usage of features and enjoy a positive experience from their first connection. * Perform fiber optic installations in residential and small business premises, adhering to Zapi Internet's established technical, safety, and quality standards. * Conduct quality and performance tests on internet connections to ensure delivery of a stable and reliable service. * Configure routers, ONTs, and control and monitoring applications, ensuring functionality and usability for the customer. * Guide customers on correct usage of equipment and applications, as well as best practices for internet navigation, promoting a positive internet experience. * Maintain organization, cleanliness, and integrity of the work environment, demonstrating respect for customer property and care for Zapi's corporate image. * Accurately document all installations, maintenance activities, and service calls in the system, keeping information up-to-date and reliable for technical control and support. * Follow internal procedures and safety protocols, acting responsibly, efficiently, and courteously. * Represent Zapi Internet’s values in customer interactions, consistently prioritizing excellence in service and end-user satisfaction. * Configure and manage Wi-Fi and wired networks, perform signal and connection testing and optimization. * Possess comprehensive understanding of TCP/IP, radiofrequency spectrum analysis, and ability to interpret and act upon network speed, capacity, and performance parameters. * Update router firmware to ensure equipment security and functionality. * Comply with safety regulations—especially NR 16656—during fieldwork and technical maintenance activities.
