**Description and Responsibilities:**

**Employment Type:** Permanent – CLT
* Ensure the efficient and safe execution of operational livestock management activities, guaranteeing animal welfare, herd productivity, and compliance with the company's quality standards.
* Lead field teams directly, providing guidance, assigning tasks, and monitoring daily routines related to animal handling, nutrition, health, and reproduction.
* Lead cowboys and ensure execution of activities planned jointly with the livestock coordinator;
* Organize daily work and assign tasks to the team, focusing on maximizing productivity in the corral and field;
* Responsible for animal handling in accordance with animal welfare practices;
* Monitor herd health;
* Perform low-complexity preventive maintenance on corral equipment, fences, and property tools related to the role;
* Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with occupational safety regulations;
* Report any incidents to the coordinator, such as diseases, accidents, animal escapes, equipment failures, or identified risks;
* Contribute to training and onboarding of new employees, disseminating best practices and the company's quality standards;
* Attend meetings when summoned by the immediate supervisor, staying informed about established needs and goals, reporting on activities and work results, and relaying any issues or potential occurrences;
* Attend lectures, courses, and internal training sessions promoted by the company to acquire additional knowledge for efficient and effective performance of duties;
* Comply with quality, occupational safety, and environmental standards, performing tasks according to defined procedures to prevent accidents and environmental impacts;
**Requirements:**
* Completed High School;
* Agricultural Technician degree or related field preferred;
* Experience in team leadership for livestock management preferred;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
* Driver's License AB.
