We encourage applications from Black individuals, persons with disabilities, LGBTQIAPN+, and individuals from diverse generations. \#VemSerTelemont. **Responsibilities and Duties** Assist in optical splice activities; Assist in aerial and underground optical cable laying; Assist in vegetation clearance around optical cables; Assist in pole installation and associated telephony accessories; Assist in removal of inactive wires and cables; Assist in replacing splice assemblies and terminal boxes; Assist in opening duct lines and trenches; Assist in testing for optical cable fault diagnostics; Assist in optical cable route inspection activities and periodic preventive fiber testing; Assist — and, when necessary, independently open and close optical splice boxes, prepare cables, fuse fibers, and install terminal boxes; Assist in performing aerial and underground splices on active and inactive optical cables; Excavations to access buried optical cables and splice boxes, soil probing to locate boxes and cables, and vegetation clearance along optical cable routes. Perform other activities of similar nature, complexity level, and responsibility. **Requirements and Qualifications** Completed elementary education.
