Maintaining hygiene and preservation of the workplace A general services assistant is a professional responsible for cleaning, organizing, and maintaining various environments—both indoors and outdoors—across different types of establishments. Their duties include cleaning floors, walls, furniture, restrooms; waste collection; restocking hygiene supplies; and other tasks related to workplace preservation. **Cleaning:** Sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, and organizing spaces, corridors, restrooms, cafeterias, offices, and production areas. **General services:** Fulfilling various requests, such as serving coffee, assisting with loading/unloading materials, and other tasks contributing to smooth workplace operations.
