We value diversity and inclusion and encourage applications from **people with disabilities (PwD)** for this and all our open positions. **Your main tasks and responsibilities include:** * Prepare materials and accessories on equipment or machinery according to production requirements, adjusting parameters or designs per work instructions and product specifications. * Request tools and materials from the warehouse and inform supervision of new requirements. * Perform setups on equipment and machinery, including raw material withdrawal and finished product removal per work instructions. * Interpret basic drawings and specifications for operation. * Operate equipment, machines, or groups of machines per work instructions and operating procedures, ensuring efficient material utilization to optimize costs. * Perform productive maintenance, cleaning, and equipment care per operating procedures. * Support tuners and maintenance technicians during article change setups, whenever necessary. * Patrol machines or groups of machines, checking for anomalies, safety hazards, fire risks, and ensuring quality and on-time delivery. * Respond to machine stoppages by identifying and correcting process anomalies, as well as product quality issues. * Operate transportation equipment and mechanisms to move various materials, always following received instructions, procedures, safety regulations, and completing the relevant equipment checklist beforehand. * Record stoppages, production output, and production orders on forms, spreadsheets, ERP systems, and shift reports. * Initiate service orders for maintenance whenever machine or equipment issues arise. * Inspect products, identify defects, measure, and store appropriately per work instructions. * Report anomalies immediately to your supervisor. * Understand Quality Management System procedures, instructions, and standards, and apply them daily. * Comply with company-established safety regulations. **Who We Are** At Valmet, the best talents from diverse backgrounds come together.
