We are seeking a professional to assume the role of **Senior Data Engineer**, serving as a technical reference in data engineering, bridging the construction of the data platform with real business needs while ensuring quality, governance, and operational efficiency. **Your key responsibilities will include:** * Designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable data pipelines, ensuring integrity, performance, and availability; * Managing ingestion, transformation, and integration of data from multiple internal and external sources; * Actively contributing to the evolution of data architecture by applying principles of modern architectures (Lakehouse, data layers, distributed processing); * Building data infrastructures that support growth, new products, and analytical demands with security and governance; * Supporting analytical data modeling, ensuring technical structures correctly underpin business metrics and KPIs; * Collaborating closely with Analytics Engineers and Data Analysts to enable consistent, reusable, and performant models; * Ensuring analytical data deliveries meet quality and traceability standards; * Implementing and evolving pipeline monitoring and automated data validations, performing troubleshooting as needed; * Adopting best practices for data testing, versioning, and technical documentation; * Acting as technical leadership, supporting team development and adoption of engineering standards. **For this position, we expect you to have:** * Solid experience in data engineering, working with relational and non-relational databases; * Strong hands-on experience developing, maintaining, and optimizing production data pipelines; * Advanced SQL proficiency and practical experience with Python; * Experience with PySpark and cloud-based data platforms such as Databricks or equivalent Lakehouse environments; * An analytical, proactive mindset with ownership mentality and results focus; * Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields. **Nice-to-have qualifications include:** * Experience in SaaS companies or fast-growing environments; * Familiarity with business metrics and recurring financial indicators; * Experience with data quality, data lineage, or data catalogs; * Prior experience as a technical reference or mentor within data teams; * A product-oriented data mindset, focused on reliability and scalability. **Still unsure whether Sólides is the right place to work?
